By investing in The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, you are enabling us to reach our mission that all young Canadians, no matter their circumstance have the opportunity to participate. Our global non-formal educational framework recognizes and celebrates young people’s achievements outside of the classroom. It enables young people to determine what they are passionate about, regardless of their background, culture or access to resources. By creating opportunities for young people to develop skills, get physically active, give service and experience adventure, the Award can play a critical role in their development.
98% of Award participants plan to continue to exercise regularly as a result of the Award.
